Teleprompter Premium App Reviews

The developer keeps coming out with new versions and doesnt support old versions. This version came out in September and will be obsolete in January. Users paid $10 for the app and now the developer says it will be automatically converted to an annual $16 fee membership plan. Bait & switch business practices at their worst. Buy an app that either has ads to support or is honest and up front about fees & pricing. Whatever $ you send Joe, wont get you use of the product for even a year before he wants more $ to keep using it. There arent apps that are identical on the market yet, but there are some with better features, like voice recognition that automatically speed up and slow down based on the readers location in the script. Unless you are interested in investing ~$50 annually to use this product, dont get suckered into his scheme.

I havent even use my TelePrompTer app and I know its my favorite app. I wrote a script and read it on the TelePrompTer and I was blown away. I mean, you can adjust the speed to you and everything. I really love it! Im starting a KickStarter soon for my project and its going to be the most perfect device for me. Thank You!

My friend launched a video project and two guys thought they couldnt speak extemperaneously. We found out about a special mirror that can go in front of the camera to allow an iPad to be a teleprompter. This app made them instant professional speakers. Loading the script is ridiculously easy just click and hold the word doc (or whatever) in mail and send it to this app. It chews up any fonts and makes the document teleprompter material. After loading and positioning the ipad in the mirror device, you can start and stop the app and adjust the speed with an iPhone liked by Bluetooth. This really made the shoot wonderful, not having to fiddle with the iPad while its mounted to the camera. The only hitch is that if you manuall scroll on an iPhone with the iPad as the teleprompter, the iPad doesnt scroll but pages up after scrolling on the phone to the spot where it would page. This is likely due to the difference in screen size and I imagine using two iPads would scroll. Thats the only improvement I can see. Before this app and the special mirror, our shoots were hours long with the guys getting frustrated and doing multiple takes. Once we got this app, it was one and done. Even with a modern hi-def digital camera about 6 in front of the guys you could not see their eyes moving. Very slick.

I use this often on commercial productions using the Parrot teleprompter. Works great. I only wish you could import scripts from notes so I dont have to copy and paste sometimes. But besides that small thing this is fantastic.

Works well with iPad and reflective screen. Easy to use. Good features. No complaints.

Perfect. Just the controls you need, bluetooth integration is great. Little hard to figure out how to bring in google docs since the dropbox integration is built in FROM the app, but the Send To.. functionality (likely from any app that exports txt) works great once you know to go hunting in the other app for it. Huge game changer in making your vids look more professional.

Product works great. Upgrade from lite version produced incorrect responses to begin with.

Vert good app. Meets my expectations

I can write my script and save it as text to Dropbox, then open the app upload the script from Dropbox and I’m done. And I can edit the text in Teleprompter. I also love that I can adjust the speed, which it should do and does, just saying it’s exactly what I was looking for.

I had issues with this App early on as I had problems entering text but all that has been resolved now. I use this Teleprompter on stage and it has replaced a bulky music stand to give a more professional appearance. The ability to change both background and font colors is just excellent. Im very pleased with this App!

Straightforward and simple app for your TelePrompter! Wifi enablement for remote control is necessary and seems to work well. Im looking forward to getting just a little more comfortable with my own control as TelePrompter always been in the control room for me.

So far the app is working as expected. The only two things missing in my opinion would have to be an option to bulk import a number if scripts and auto scroll to voice. None of the other TelePrompter apps that Ive used have a bulk import. A few of them have auto scroll with voice though. Either way, it does what I need it to do right now.

I really like this app, I had another TelePrompTer application it was slow to open, I couldnt control the scroll and it closed on me while I was speaking this one does all I need it to do. I highly recommend it.
