I Am working with this software and is Amazing ! It was a investment with paid off.
Works perfectly. I saved my documents in word under a txt file. Copied to dropbox and no problems uploading to TelePrompTer. The text moves upwards, but I learned that by playing with the buttons. Im pleased for what I paid I got what I need.
The TelePrompTer 2 works wonderfully well. It is simple to use. Simple to download text and more important simple to edit.
I have been using this product for more than a year and am very pleased with the quality and flexibility it offers. And the price point ... This hits it out of the park.
I work in television and find this app to be very helpful for on camera presentation. Segments get shot faster and easier with the help of this very useful tool. Thumbs up.
I just purchased this for my iPad prompter, and I was a bit nervous about these things because I’m always expecting there to be some weird glitch, or something key missing. But within about 3 minutes of getting it, everything was working perfectly and it is *super* easy to use. Had the bluetooth keyboard running things in another 2 minutes. Very well designed. When you’re worried about messing up in front of a client (as I was) with a iPad prompter, it’s nice to see something where the dev. has really thought about how to put it together and use it intuitively. I would like to see, maybe, the ability to import PPoint presentations, that would help.
Some bad moments
Downloaded the latest version and so far it does nothing. When you bring a text file in from Drop Box, it returns a blank page. There is no apparent way to delete the blank files once they appear. Despite Joes numerous emails to chat and respond to problems, he is as quiet as a Church mouse. Ill amend this review if Im missing something but so far Ive blown a double latte.
You have to pay $12 for the video function and an additional $6 to record the video!!!! HUGE SCAM!!!!!!
Disappointed with the scammy practice of downloading TWO paid apps to actually use the Teleprompter. So this is what will happen to you too:
I started with the lite version of this app. As I couldnt use the video camera (only the prompter works, but you cannot record yourself) , I had to upgrade to the paid version, which I didnt mind. Pay $14 for it would have been worth it. However, once you download the paid version (this one) you will have to download another sister app (camera app for this version) to use it! Sure, I downloaded it but then guess what? That app only allows you 800 characters per script/prompter. 800 characters is like - couple of phrases, which you could definitely memorize without using the prompter!!! So in order to use more than 800 characters you have to download another PAID app, for $10!!! I want my money back and I will also report it to Scam Detector.
Using iPhone 5s and keyboard Rapoo e6300. All devices were connected well, blue label of bluetooth was highlighted, but no any reaction from keys

I had purchased the previous version of this app and it was great. Unfortunately, this new version is very misleading and dishonest, in my opinion. Instead of giving you an "upgraded" / enhanced version of the previous program, its been replaced with a simple text editor without any ability to record or save video. Whats the purpose of that??? This completely defeats the intended purpose that the previous app version provided.
Seriously, the previous version allowed you to edit your script and then record the video, as the script scrolled along on the screen. Now, it just focuses upon being a simple text editor that scrolls on the screen -- and thats it!
Of course, it tells you that you can supposedly get the video portion for free -- until you discover that "free" costs $4.99. Hmm... Instead, they allow you to download a "lite" version of the program and not the full version, even though you just paid money to get the supposed "full" version. Ugh, Im very frustrated, as I had solid hopes that this could be a very useful upgrade.
I feel like Ive been tricked. A refund has been requested.
So when I first downloaded and then PAID for this app it had the ability to refresh any changes across any device you had linked. Also you signed into the app so it made sure to have all your scripts right there when you accessed any of the devices you signed into. Now even when I try to sign in and retrieve my other scripts I cant. Its beyond frustrating. I had recommended this app to others but have since told them they changed the key functions that made this a great app. I tried to contact them to no avail so now just warning others.
